Autumn 2025

The pandemic of 2020 gave me a chance to “enjoy” Spring. I was able most days to go out and walk, get my exercise and watch the world around me change. It just happened and I managed to record some of it. This year I realised I could do the same and record the change from summer to winter.

Every day when I took the dog for a walk, and we went along the Rushall Canal.

I chose a spot and tried to take the same picture every time I went past. Here are a selection:

1st Sept 2025

5th September, It rained on a couple of the intervening days, the grass is greener

14th September Over a week later, not that much has changed

05th October. I went on holiday to Scotland, so I had to skip 2 weeks. Leaves on the ground and the yellows and oranges in the trees

12th October a Week later , a misty day

Just over a week later 20th October

Fewer bits of green. Even the duckweek is reducing

25th October a bright and sunny day the yellows and gold are brighter on the left

31st Oct, a rainy day. a short walk for Henry. Still fewer leaves on the trees
